LCL Handbook 2026 21 and 142 points to take the title. Division 3 saw a 20 point gap at the top with Rishton 4th as runners and Crompton took the title. In Division 2 the runners up were Littleborough and the title was taken by Greenmount. In Division One the margin between the top two could not have been closer. It was winner-takes-all in the final game of the season at Enfield where Burnley were the visitors. The game went down to the very last ball and both teams ended the season on 116 points, the deciding factor being the team with more wins. In the end Burnley won the game and so finished with 9 wins to Enfield’s 8. This is the second time Burnley have won the overall Third Eleven competition. In the T20 competition, again we had four divisions of 6 drawn out on a geographical basis. Darwen, Lowerhouse Littleborough and Norden won their respective divisions and they were joined in the quarter finals by Clitheroe, Burnley Todmorden and Ramsbottom . The quarter finals were then won by Littleborough who beat Clitheroe Norden who won at home to Burnley, Darwen who won at home to Todmorden and Lowerhouse who beat Ramsbottom. Finals day was earlier this year and was blessed with dry weather for a change with Littleborough hosting for the second time. The first semi final saw the hosts progress with a 12 run win over Darwen. Lowerhouse then beat Norden by 77 runs to set up a Littleborough v Lowerhouse final. In the final, Littleborough won the toss and opted to bat first and a total of 128 was posted. Lowerhouse’s reply was totally out of character in comparison to their League form and suddenly they found themselves at 25 for 5 and then 42 for 7 before TomWalker and Paddy Martin managed to put together a stand that doubled the score to 84 but then further wicket’s fell to leave them 29 runs short on 99 all out. Lewis Willmann was adjudged man of the match for his bowling return of 4 overs, 2 for 9 (3 of which were wides!) This is the first time Littleborough have won the T20 competition. In the Worsley cup, the semi final draw threw up two local derbies with Lowerhouse hosting Burnley and Ramsbottom at home to Greenmount. At Lowerhouse the match was reduced to 34 overs and the hosts posted 189/6 overs built around Frankie Haesbrook’s 68 not out and 38 from Toxi Hussain as the pair had an unbroken partnership of 99. The Duckworth Lewis calculation left Burnley needing 173 to win. Qasim Shah led the way with 50
