NOTE: for these purposes any “complaint” contained within a Captain’s report will not constitute a formal Complaint. 4. SCORERS’CAPTAINS’AND CLUBS’DUTIES 4.1. The competing Clubs shall appoint their own scorers who shall each present their scorebooks to the Umpires at the close of play. Each Captain shall complete the Captains report on Umpires on playcricket.com within 3 days following the match. Failure to do so will incur a fine (Category 4, as per table 10.1) on each occasion. 4.5. The Home Club must upload the result of each match to playcricket. com within 48 hours of the match being completed. Umpires must arrive at the ground no later than 45 minutes before time for play commencement and should be in position at the wickets in to time to ensure that start of play is punctual both at the commencement of the match and following the interval. 5.2. Umpires are to inspect the ball at irregular intervals and at the fall of a wicket. Any complaint must be made to the fielding captain in accordance with Law 42.3.(d)(1). 5.3. Whenever there is encroachment on the field of play by spectators the game shall be suspended until the playing area is cleared. 5.4. There should be no practice by the players with bat on the field of play during the ten minutes prior to the commencement of the game and during the 25 minute tea interval, nor during any period of delay in the game.
